Belize Diving Services – Hol Chan

Hol Chan Marine Reserve is an excellent diving area just 30 minutes from Caye Caulker and an absolute favorite for divers.

Hol Chan is famous for its friendly Nurse Sharks and large Grouper. The Reserve also has over 160 species of fish and 40 species of corals, sponges, algae, and sea turtles. The topography of the area has a sloping shelf dramatically cut with deep cracks and crevices winding to the reef’s outer edge where a great wall drops to depths beyond 130 feet/40 meters. The site is excellent for the novice to advanced diver.
