Advanced Adventure Diver
If you have taken your Open Water Scuba Diver course and are ready to expand your knowledge, a great way to see what scuba skills you want to develop is by taking the SDI Advanced Adventure Diver course. The SDI Advanced Adventure Diver course gives you an overview of 5 selected SDI specialties. Two of the specialties are the required SDI Deep Diver and Navigations Diver, strong foundations for continuing your diver education. But you can choose the remaining 3 from a wide array of specialties, including:
Advanced Buoyancy Control
• Boat
• Computer Nitrox
• Drift
• Marine Ecosystem Awareness
This course is intended to introduce you to each of the five (5) specialties but is not comprehensive instruction in any specialty. One (1) dive from each of the chosen specialties may apply towards a complete specialty certification.
Advanced Diver Development Program
The SDI Advanced Diver Development Program was created to make truly “Advanced Divers”. During the course your SDI Instructor will take you through four SDI specialties (deep, navigations, photo, video, etc. as examples) covering all the skills and subjects, so that by the end you will feel completely comfortable in undertaking dives of a similar nature. Many of these courses can be started at home and then finished in the water here in Belize, leaving you more time for relaxing and enjoying the beach while you are on Caye Caulker. Scuba diving is meant to be an experience, and enjoyed, so, ideally, the Advanced Diver Development Program should be completed over several vacations with different SDI instructors. The ultimate Advanced Diver Certification awaits you upon the completion of 4 specialties and your 25th logged dive.
All PADI continuing education courses are also available.
