Belize Diving Services – Caye Caulker

Caye Caulker, Belize, is a sliver of an island just off the coast of Belize City, and a little south of the more developed Ambergris Caye. It’s famous not only for it’s proximity to outstanding dive sites but also for it’s laid-back atmosphere, sandy streets, and the fact that the only vehicles on the island are golf carts.

Caye Caulker is a 12-minute flight from Belize City, Belize, using either Tropic Air www.tropicair.com or Maya Island Air www.mayaregional.com. Belize City is a 2-hour flight from Miami or 3 hours from Dallas Fort Worth. Alternatively, you may now fly direct from Cancun to Belize City via Maya Island Air.

If you are looking for the charm of the Caribbean in the 50’s, the absence of big resorts, quirky to lovely accommodations, and require good food, this is it! In 2011, Caye Caulker was featured by Frommer’s on CNN, by Travel and Leisure on the Today Show, and in the August 2011 Sport Diver Magazine.

A note to cruise ship passengers: We are so sorry, but we do not have the capacity to meet cruise ship tenders, and it’s not logistically possible for you to get here on your own in time for our 9 a.m. departures.
