Belize Diving Services – Environmental Commitment
Belize Diving Services helps its community by valuing the marine environment that helps us earn our living. We have assisted researchers from Belize and around the world in learning more about the health of the reef and the impacts of our usage. We work with our local Marine Reserve to install and maintain mooring buoys to prevent anchor damage to the reef. We have aided and supplied scientists conducting research on sponge growth, coral reef health, and other research projects.
Beyond the underwater realm, Belize Diving Services is an active community participant, helping to maintain the local football (soccer) field, teaching the local high school students to dive, and supporting dental care for island residents.
Their Mission: They address threats to conservation involving climate change, fire, fresh water, forests, invasive species, and marine ecosystems.

Ocean Conservancy believes it’s time to change our national policies to protect entire ecosystems as the surest way to solve the most critical ocean conservation challenges we face.
